SDK overview
Dataira separates authentication, data access, and presentation so your product can adopt only the pieces it needs.
Open the live embedded analytics demo to ask questions, save an answer as a metric, and compose a dashboard inside a realistic SaaS host.
Packages
| Package | Runtime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
@dataira/react | Browser | Complete workspace and composable React components |
@dataira/client | Browser | Framework-agnostic resource and state client |
@dataira/node | Server | Optional helpers for tokens and partner administration |
All three packages use the same gateway contract. Starting with the complete React workspace does not lock you in: it is built on the exported headless client and primitives.
Choose a frontend level
- Use
DatairaInsightsfor a polished workspace with navigation, chat, saved metrics, dashboards, search, responsive behavior, and internal scrolling. - Compose
ChatPanel,MetricLibrary,DashboardLibrary,DataTable, and other primitives when your product needs a custom layout. - Use
DatairaClientwhen your existing design system should own every pixel.
Trust boundary
Your backend authenticates the end user and chooses the datasource and row scope. The API key stays server-side. See Embed security for the complete boundary.
Resource model
Conversations are working history. A useful answer can become a saved metric; dashboards compose saved metrics. Collections organize any of those resources for one end user, while stars and pins remain independent preferences.
Continue with the React quickstart or the headless client.
